One of our all time favorite restaurants for a great meal and glass of wine. Whether you're in town on business and grab a seat at the bar, having a girls' lunch or a nice dinner with your partner, Sweet Onion has excellent food and service. During Covid Times, they have done a great job of social distancing in the restaurant. They also offer carry-out. Currently, you check-in outside and then they let you in and show you to your table. Local tip: try the Lemongrass Vinaigrette. It's amazing!! Also, if you visit in season- try the Apple Crisp for dessert. You won't regret it.

Local brewery! Great beer, and a fun bar downstairs. Local tip: They're usually very busy so plan to put your name on the wait list and then shop down mainstreet until your table is ready.

This local seafood restaurant has been a go-to for decades. Local tip: if you like a smaller portion dinner- order from the " Not so Much" section on the menu. You get a small portion of seafood, 2 hushpuppies and a side of your choice :). My husband and I usually order the blackened mahi or grouper.

Hiking
One of our favorite day hikes. Just be prepared- you have to cross through water at the beginning of the hike. It's a paved road that the river flows over. Tip: if you don't have waterproof hiking boots, tie a grocery bag over your boots. Just remember to PLEASE pack out the bags.
This is a road hike so it's not steep or overly strenuous. We take our standard poodle with us. It's just an easy, pretty hike.
Middle Prong Wilderness
