The train station abcoude is 5 min from the apartment by car . The train to Amsterdam and Utrecht is about 25 minutes .. on 9292.nl you can see the exact times .
By train you will in Amsterdam or Utrecht in 20 minutes . You can park there in the surrounding for free not at the blue line . Then you have to walk 4 min to the train station abcoude. Or do the p+r Arena or p+r RAI . Tip

Look at https://www.route.nl/ beautiful walking and bicycles routes. The environment is so beautiful along the water and the meadows. Well worth it .

You can rent a bike in Abcoude, 8 minutes from the apartment at Ollies at apposite of the supermarket Albert Heijn

Parking P+R
You pay 1 euro per 24 hours if you drive into:
Saturday, Sunday, public holiday.
Monday to Friday after 10 a.m.
You can then park for up to 96 hours (4 days). At P+R RAI or Arena is 10 minutes drive you can park for a maximum of 24 hours.
You pay 8 euros for the first 24 hours if you drive into:
Monday to Friday before 10:00 a.m.
and the next 72 hours 1 euro per 24 hours.
After 96 hours you pay the more expensive standard parking rate. This rate differs per P+R location.
