The Swim Beach features locker rooms, outdoor showers, vending machines and a floating obstacle course – The Aqua Park. Lake Olathe Park visitors can rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boats at the Marina. Coolers with food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome along with beach chairs and umbrellas. Additional renovations to Lake Olathe now offer an upper event lawn surrounded by landscaping and a small stream. The water feature flows into a waterfall before ending in a pond. A creek leading from the pond wraps around the newly built Spray Ground before flowing into the lake. An amphitheater, featuring event seating for 1,500 and Lake Olathe as its backdrop, is a great spot to relax and enjoy nature's elements.

If you’re in KC I definitely recommend you add this to your list of places to visit and tickets are very affordable.

You can quickly browse through the museum or if you’re like me, you can spend a whole day here as there is a lot of artifacts and facts to read through. There’s also a theatre that plays a quick 10 minute film and there’s other sections of the museum with video clips. If you’re in KC I definitely recommend you add this to your list of places to visit and tickets are very affordable.

You learn quite a lot about Truman. The replica Oval Office is very well done. While the seasonal gallery was interesting as it was about Truman’s family. The mini activities spread throughout were also fun. Honestly, If you enjoy history, there’s no reason you wouldn’t like this museum. To conclude, it should take under two hours to explore. You learn quite a lot about Truman. The replica Oval Office is very well done. While the seasonal gallery was interesting as it was about Truman’s family. The mini activities spread throughout were also fun. Honestly, If you enjoy history, there’s no reason you wouldn’t like this museum. To conclude, it should take under two hours to explore.
