Vernooy Falls Trail is a 3.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Kerhonkson, New York that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This wonderful park is just around the corner from our bungalow. You can, also, get there by walking from our property through the woods to the mountain. But, parking a car at the entrance to the park is easier! There is a great view from the top of Walnut mountain. Good for nearly every hiker.
