Family fun

The Erie Community Center is fantastic and it's right down the road. Workout facilities and classes, indoor pool with lazy river and splash pad, climbing wall, racquet ball courts, skateboard park, playgrounds and more! COVID has curbed some of the fun, but even if you're not a member, you can still reserve a slot to workout or swim on their website for just $5 pp. Enjoy!

Neighborhoods

Take Erie Village walking and bike paths, through neighboring Lost Creek Farm, to Old Town Erie, and enjoy restaurants like 24 Carrots, The Old Mine, Miners Tavern, Echo Brewery and more. Grab breakfast from The Rose Cafe or Fox Dog Coffee, and come back for ice cream at Sweets Ice Cream. And make sure you walk a couple blocks east, past the ball field, to find the walking path to the newer part of town, with more restaurants, the rec center, library and more!

City/town information

Lafayette and Louisville are fantastic neighboring towns with charming "Main Streets," parks, excellent restaurants and bars, and trails galore. A couple of our favorite spots are Teocalli and Community in Lafayette, and and Moxie Bread Co and Huckleberry in Louisville.

Food scene

GO GO GO! This cidery is in the most unsuspecting place, but has incredible home-brewed cider, great food, and best of all, SWEEPING front range views.

Trails, creeks and more!

Heading west will not disappoint if you're hungry for mountain adventure, but you can find trails and outdoor fun right in your backyard. - Coal Creek runs through Erie, with more than a few spots to dip a toe in or have a picnic. - Niwot is a charming town just a few miles away, with a great trail system, quaint downtown, and park. - Twin Lakes is a DREAM COME TRUE for dogs and humans alike. The local walking trail has a gated, off-leash, lakeside loop for dogs, tons of tree climbing for kids, and Avery Brewing Company is right across the street. - Coot Lake, Boulder Reservoir, Go go go!
