A major hub in the Central West, Dubbo sits on the intersection of the Mitchell, Newell and Golden Highways. The Macquarie River flows through the centre of the city. The city is serviced by three major shopping centres as well as shopping precincts along several streets. Restaurants, Pubs and Cafes scattered all throughout the city, you’ll have to stay for a month to try them all.
The Western Plains Cultural Centre provides a home for travelling exhibitions and the Civic Theatre hosts events throughout the year.
