A 2 minute walk up the street for stunning views, and an amazing place to watch the sun and moon rise. We either start or finish most days with a walk down the stairs to Frenchman’s, around the headland to Deadman’s then over to Cylinder. Afternoon walks usually timed to watch the sunset over Cylinder. Magic! Popular with rock fisherman too

Known as Karboora (meaning deep, silent pool) the lake is culturally significant to the Quandamooka people and request you don't swim in the lake to respect that significance. Take drinking water, especially in hotter times of the year.
