Shopping

Witchy spellwork supplies ... Lots of herbs ;-) This shop has been around for a long time. Not a "touristy" type shop per se. (Tip: Do NOT ask any stupid/silly questions)

Nice selection of witch/occult related books (actually a LOT), candles, tarot/oracle cards (again - lots!), incense, jewelry, oils, etc etc. Many formulations are made exclusive "in house". You WILL find something there that you "have to have".

Old style "voodoo" shop (a la tourista) ... Worth checking out because its in a REALLY cool old building. Perhaps find yourself the perfect souvenir! Or at least get one of their T shirts. They do have some nice statues/wooden tribal masks.

Another "tourista" voodoo shop...however it's totally worth going in to check it out! Crammed with lots of hoodoo spell items and trinkets. You might just find something unique to take home with you!

This place is FANTASTIC! Cheap admission, and sooooo much to see! Oodles of old/antique pharmaceutical items and preparations on display. Several floors to explore! Best to do the narrated tour (the guide tells you LOTS of interesting medical related stories about the horrors of old time instruments and medicines).

What can I say....hahaaaa. Awesome. You can spend ALL DAY studying everything on display here. Admission is $15 - but there is lots to see if you want to take the time. Features many items pertaining to serial killers. Some VERY cool things here.
