Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians
Don’t expect to see Cherokee Natives in teepees or wearing headdress’. They live on and off the Qualla boundary (also known as the Cherokee Indian reservation) and are a very modern people. If you are interested in learning more about the culture, be sure to check out the Cherokee Indian Museum or/and The Village in Cherokee which depicts historical Cherokee. For authentic Cherokee crafts check out the museum gift shop or the Cherokee Co-op which features artwork from local Cherokee Artists. Thank you for respecting the culture and people.
