A 15 minute walk from Warkworth village or park in the beach car park near the golf club (the beach is a short walk from here). NE65 0SW is the nearest postcode - 3 miles or 8 minutes from the cottage.

There are two wonderful beaches accessed via Low Steads Farm in Longhoughton (pay for access at the gate’s honesty box). Sugar Sands and Howdiemont beaches aren’t as quiet as they used to be during the summer months but are well worth a visit. The coastal path walk skirts the edge of the beaches so you can easily explore to the north or south.
