Jefferson
Good to know, most everything is closed in Jefferson on Mondays. But when you do go, it is a short 10 minute drive from the cabin and you'll find it to be a gorgeous "old style" little town cozy and nestle in the mountains. Great local restaurants and shopping all up and down Main St. My favorite place to eat is Boondocks. It is casual and serves it's own local brew! Warm parts of the year there is live entertainment on the weekends. During the day don't miss climbing or driving up Mt. Jefferson. The views are spectacular looking all the way to Virginia and tennessee!
