Food scene
Great place for foods and local craft traders. At the moment the market is open for hot food on a Friday from 12pm and Saturdays from 9am for cheeses, vegetables, cakes, local crafts and artists.
There are also lots of restaurants, coffee shops and shops in the area. Its also next to London Fields and the canal which you can take a short walk to Victoria Park. One of my favourite places to go.

This is a short walk from my flat and one of my favourite brunch places. They do a great Shakshuka but also do a range of breakfasts and burgers. Also great cocktails and some on a 2 for £10 deal.

This is a great restaurant which is close by. The do a range of dumplings and other small dishes, such as glazed pork belly in sweet soy glaze, buttermilk chicken wings with honey soy glaze and MaPo Tofu with Shitake mushrooms. It is amazing and so tasty. One of my favourite restaurants in the area, in fact in London! You will definitely leave feeling full.

My favourite take-away pizza place! They don't have sit in at the moment, but the take away is amazing, great toppings and sourdough bases. Also have a great selection of vegan options.

This is a great pub with rotisserie chicken on the menu! The also have halloumi fries and different flavour chicken wings which are all delicious.

This sushi restaurant is very close to my flat. Although I have never been I have heard that it is very good and where the occasional famous person can be found enjoying a meal.

Sightseeing
This is a great Sunday market but warning it does get busy as it is very popular amongst visitors and locals.
Its great to see the traders working and selling their wares and getting in amongst the hustle and bustle. You can also pick up some great deals on house plants and flowers. If you want to avoid the crowds I would recommend getting there early. Around lunchtime the crowds pick up.
Also very close to Shoreditch so can easily pop down to Brick Lane after to look around the market there.
