walks

Lovely property and farm with lots of history. Beautiful walks through the grounds, by the river and in the woodland (you can look for the fairy doors too!) - you can access all the walks without having to pay to go into the property, there's a lovely cafe and shop too!

Food Scene

Where to eat in our local towns and villages
Our local harbour town, just 2.5 miles away. Stunningly beautiful, with all the houses painted in different colours. The shops are small, independent shops - with everything from fashion and home wares to gifts. There are lots of places to eat - if you want takeaway then you have the choice of fish and chips from The New Celtic, (sit on the harbour wall to watch the sunset!) Pizza Paradise, Sagaar Tandoori, Pam Lai Chinese. There are numerous cafes - one of our favourites is McGowans vintage cafe, and we recommend any of their food, but the afternoon tea is delicious and a nice treat! Ambassadors, zukos and Naturally Scrumptious (also a deli) are also well worth a visit! Evening food and drink - The Harbour Master, The Cellar, Manuka, The Hive (awesome local honey ice cream too!) and The Stubborn Duckling are our favourites! The town is split by the river Aeron, with beaches on either side, which are edged by the coastal path (the coastal path runs around the entire welsh coast, so you can pick it up and go for stunning walks from anywhere along the coastline)
