This is a sweet little preserve that is a stones throw from the cabin. Well a country stones throw meaning you still need to drive there but it’s only a few minutes away. Cornelia’s trail is nice and easy. It takes you to the top of the preserve and from there you can connect to my favorite Frank’s trail. This one brings you down into the woods where you really feel away from everything and everyone. It connects to Florence’s trail which will circle you back to Cornelia and your car. Then it’s back to the cabin for a dip in the soaking tub!
Cornelia & Florence Bridge Nature Preserve
1082 Twin Lakes RdThis is a sweet little preserve that is a stones throw from the cabin. Well a country stones throw meaning you still need to drive there but it’s only a few minutes away. Cornelia’s trail is nice and easy. It takes you to the top of the preserve and from there you can connect to my favorite Frank’s trail. This store is addicting. We dare you to walk out with only one bottle. Our favorite go to place for buying oil & vinegars plus pasta, honey, jams, teas, etc. and everything leaves the store looking gift-wrapped! This store is tucked down one of Milford's charming side alleys - so don’t miss it! 220 Broad St but it’s really on the corner of Gooseberry and Pear Alleys. Did we mention charming? LoL

Great wrap around porch for summer dining. Full menu and bar. We love their brick oven pizzas and burgers but they have fancy pants dinners too.

This restaurant reopened in 2021 and kept it's historic feel especially in the bar area. Great porch dining with good food to match. Recommend the homemade fettuccini and the short ribs. Yummy desserts and tasty cocktails.

Authentic Yucatán Mexican food! Main courses for dinner area bit pricey. Order a few starters and some drinks instead or try it for lunch! Both just as tasty and easier on the wallet. Tucked away off the main streets in an old Victorian house at 210 2nd Street.
