Designated dog park, horse-back riding, playgrounds, fitness trails, hiking and biking paths (as well as bike rentals), paddle boats, disc golf course, and Go Ape Treetop Adventures is located within its borders. You can spend an entire day here!

An excellent high ropes course with Tarzan swings and ziplines among Shelby Farms's beautiful, lush canopy. What an amazing way to experience the park!

Lichterman Nature Center, a certified arboretum and nature center. It has many outdoor and indoor animal exhibits, activities and events. We love to see all the Canadian geese that nest around the lake every year. Please be respectful of their nest and do not disturb them.

Family recommendation...make a reservation for the Deep Swamp Canoe Tour (only $5 per seat or $10 per canoe) that tours one of the last standing cypress monocultures of the Mississippi. Don't forget to stop by the Shelby Forest General Store for one of their world-famous burgers and listen to live bluegrass music ever Friday night!
