Started in Oxford even before I was a student there (so a LONG time ago!), Browns is a classic brasserie. It is light and airy with well spaced tables. Good place for a burger or club sandwich.

A lovely local deli with especially good pastries and brioche rolls. Very warm and friendly owners. Great coffee.
There is also a cafe only branch on the Western side of the Meadows.
