Seems quite authentic (traditional 3 topping italian pizzas). Found the base a bit 'bready' (i.e. not thin enough). Didn't have the pasta but portions looked pretty generous.
(Really highlighted the Old (pensioner) Vs young (school kid) demographic schizophrenia of the area...)

(Really highlighted the Old (pensioner) Vs young (school kid) demographic schizophrenia of the area...)
Scallops were nicely cooked but bland, asked me how I wanted my pork chop cooked, unfamiliar with that asked for 'medium rare' (?!?!) couldn't tell if it was rare or not...skin was chewy not crackly...poor choice of cut for $38 (pork belly would have been better) got serious food envy looking around the table

Good beer, nice (relaxed/unpretentious) vibe, real kiwiana menu (they have cheerios!!!!) mostly outdoors so check the weather

Onward from here take the Blue line to PMH (Princess Margaret Hospital) hop off @ Huxley (there still a 5min a walk from there)
