I have eaten there several times with friends and the food has always been great. Dion, your host, is very passionate about his food and will always happily talk to his customers about what's in each meal. He and his wife also grow their own food, much of which ends up in the restaurant.

Cooran's hidden secret. With a very subtle signage is this popular bar with its own locally crafted brews. Serves food too. I had a yummy pizza there once. Not open every day. Great atmosphere.

Sightseeing
Within a 20 min drive from Cooran in a lovely bush setting, it's a great place to have a picnic, go for a dip in the pools, or as a starting location for a hike. Very pretty. There are toilets there. Please note, a decent part of the trip is dirt road. It's kept pretty well, just can get dusty.

If you like a good hike and climbing, then drive 6 mins to Mt Cooroora and see if you can make it to the top. Famous for the annual 'King Of The Mountain' race.

You miss the best part of Noosa if you don't take a right hand turn at the beach and head to the National Park that is the headland. About a 35 min drive from Cooran. Great walk, popular with local joggers and surfers...and great access to different picturesque beaches along the way.
