we haven't been in person, but many local friends spoke highly of this tiny place. great location, that's for sure - close to Nomád and the somewhat less popular beachy area.

We recommend you to do your grocery shopping before entering to Nagymaros, or on the Farmer's market on Saturdays, but if it's absolutely necessary, the local CBA is a good option to have. a bit over-priced but you can find all things necessary. fresh fruits and veggies are rare tho :)

Sightseeing

A good couple of hours hike from Királyrét, accessible by either car, or train-bus / train-tiny train combo. At the end of the rout you'll find the Nagy-Hideg-Hegy Lodge, where you can eat some dense hikers meal, or enjoy some drinks with fellow hikers.

Just a short, 15-mins bikeride / 5 mins carride / 30 mins walk away there's the village of Zebegény, a true picturesque tiny village with small cobble stone streets, good food scene, great hiking trails and beaches.
