Sea Rim State Park

I love to crab and one location I found to be fun is Sea Rim State Park. It's about 50 minute drive but a great day trip for the family. There's brochures on the coffee table for your convenience. Gulf Coast beaches and marshlands provide the backdrop for Sea Rim State Park. Visitors can sunbathe, swim or surf fish at the beach unit, locations of the park's headquarters. From the Marshlands Unit, visitors may explore the marsh estuaries by canoe or kayak. An abundance of birds and other wildlife, notably the American alligator, inhabits the marsh wetlands. Bird watching is popular in the park, especially in the spring and fall.
