Brighton is one of the best value ski/snowboard resorts in the area. With a lot more beginner terrain as well as plenty of steeps and fun natural features, this resort is great for the whole family.

With chill vibes and less crowds, Solitude is a great resort all around. It's a bit smaller than the others, but there's still a ton of varied terrain to keep you coming back for more all weekend.

Sugarhouse is a pretty trendy neighborhood about 15 minutes away. There are a many excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries in the area. With a cute "downtown" area, the neighborhood is very walk-able.

Another local favorite to hit after skiing. It's located at the case of Big Cottonwood right off the main road.
Their nachos are excellent and they have a good beer selection.

This unimposing restaurant is a hidden gem! Definitely the best pho around! They also offer a wide variety of classic asian dishes. Everything I've gotten has been amazing!

The ski bus is super convenient
The 953 bus stop is located right at the end of my street. It's a super convenient way to get to and from the resorts located in the Cottonwood Canyons. With departures every 30 minutes, it's a great way to avoid the hassle of finding a parking spot. The 953 bus travels all the way to Alta and Snowbird. For Brighton and Solitude, get off at the Wasatch Blvd park and ride and hop on the 972 bus.

TRAX is a great way to get downtown
4 miles away is the nearest TRAX station, Fashion Place West and for a small fee you can take TRAX into downtown for a night out. Just be sure to not miss the last train back or be prepared to Uber.

Take a nice stroll through the beautiful garden in temple square. In the winter the christmas lights add the perfect tough at night.
