Just 2 miles west of the Airbnb, is a lovely planned development called San Elijo Hills. Many hiking trails including Double Peak Point which is the highest elevation point in North County San Diego. The views at the top are gorgeous!

This beach is one of our favorites when we have family and friends visiting with children. Although it can be a little crowded at times, the parking is convenient and there are bathrooms, a play structure and a walk up snack bar. It is also located near many restaurants and shops in downtown Encinitas/Leucadia
