Bar no. 3: If you like really amazing cocktails, you have to try this place. Their drinks are really amazing, and their snack/food menu is also pretty impressive.

Shop like the local expats do and go to the Avocado lady! She's crammed into two tiny shop spaces, but her store is a wonderful maze of hard-to-find items from around the world, including herbs, spices, cheeses, olives, sausages, and of course, avocados.
If you're up for more exploring, there's a Shanghainese Wet Market further up Wulumuqi towards Fuxing Road. You can get a great selection of veggies, meats, fish, and seafood here at local prices.

My Butchery - Great shop for a craft beer, a nice cut of meat, or (my favorite) a rotisserie chicken. Next door is a great little cafe with fabulous affogato and their own brand of cold brew coffee (Black Rose)
