Great cafe open all day right on beautiful Gylly Beach. They do get very busy in the summer months though. They do a great breakfast and Sunday lunch and usually have a live band on Sunday evenings. Well worth a visit, even if you just go for a coffee and to enjoy the view.

For a quirky drink visit the Chintz, great little bar again just a few yards away from the apartment. They do great cocktails and often have live music on Friday's and Saturdays.

Such a beautiful spot. Take the short drive over to Restronguet Creek and you are in for a treat. Lunch or dinner on the pontoon when the weather is good, there is simply no better place to be. Beautiful views and great pub grub. Be warned if you are visiting in summer there is very restricted parking here in the peak season.

Take a boat trip over to St. Mawes for the day from the Prince of Charles Pier at the bottom of the hill. St. Mawes is a beautiful place to visit and wander, a couple of great hotels that serve good gin and lunches the Idle Rocks and the Trensanton are particular favourites, or The St Mawes Hotel for a slightly cheaper option. St Mawes castle is also well worth a visit and a lovely short walk from the harbour. Ferry's cross regularly in the fine weather.

Blow away the cobwebs at Lizard Point, park in the town and walk down to the point if you have the energy. Its a lovely walk and you're greeted with a couple of lovely cafes and giftshops at the point....not to mention the breathtaking views from the point. If you're lucky you may even get to see a few seals.
