Who doesn't LOVE breakfast for lunch? It's a little hole in the wall, old place but fast, friendly service, with good food at a decent price. They do also serve lunch foods. Open 6:30a to 2pm most days. Only Friday and Saturday are they open until 7p.

Formerly “The Bear” but new owners and new menu at “The Weekender”. The chopped salad was so delicious and HUGE it could have been a side salad for easily four people. Hubs got a burger with a side of grilled veggies and he loved both too.

Hardscrabble Rd will turn into FR-428 and is my kids favorite ATV trail because it's close and not as scary as the Rim Rd. I've seen regular 2wd cars make it all the way to Strawberry - you just gotta go ultra slow on the fun bumpy rocky bits. P.S. I drive 2 miles to the top to where it flattens out and then let the kids take over the driving from there. #dontjudgemyparenting

Take the 87 toward Strawberry and turn right on Anasazi Way (next rd after the churches), then right on Ruin Hill Loop, then park and hike up.

This is the adults favorite place to kayak because it's in a gorgeous canyon. The kids only like it when the water is warm enough to swim because there aren't many places to just hang out on the beach. There's tons of rock climbing though. And the risk takers are constantly cliff diving.
