Our favorite restaurants within walking distance
We LOVE the Tidewater Grill. It is a little pricey, but very nice and the seafood is fresh. Their chicken salad is great as well. If you want a take-out salad, theirs is very inexpensive (we love the Greek for $5.95) and it comes with their INCREDIBLE bread. We actually go for the bread, to be honest. It is two blocks from the condo in the mall.

I love Mediterranean food, and this place has authentic Greek cuisine that is fantastic! Located about four blocks away, it is on Capitol Street, nestled amongst other restaurants and shops. Definitely a place to visit!

A great pizza and salad place that is a local favorite. Located on Capitol Street, tucked in next to a bookstore, other restaurants and shops.

Sightseeing
Great art museum with lots of things for children and adults alike. Around six blocks away but I wouldn't recommend walking at night. Just a little far, unless it's summertime.

Great resort about an hour and a half away that offers all kinds of outdoor recreation: White water rafting, zip lining, you name it. Well worth the drive!
