It is close by my apt,you can take a taxi and can go there in 15 min ( if no traffic) costs around 20 turkish lira. So many pubs and fish restaurants can be found but i recomend the bars not the fish restaurants as they are so expensive for not so high value. For good Fish restaurants go to Taksim or Arnavutköy&Bebek.

This is both touristic and locals place, you need to walk through Istiklal Street, go to Galata Tower for sure. Few nice reasonable and trustable restaurants: SAHRAP: very nice restaurant, no cheating and tasty special Turkish food, especially meze and you can have raki,wine etc... FICCIN: Again a trustworthy restaurant with good mezes, Turkish and Caucasian cuisine. HAYVORE: A restaurant where you can eat special dishes belong to Black Sea Region of Turkey, reasonable prices. If you just want to have a beer etc you can go to Nevizade street, with so many bars around.

Also KARAKÖY LOKANTASI is a nice restaurant option for dinner&lunch.

Also KARAKÖY LOKANTASI is a nice restaurant option for dinner&lunch.
Restaurants&Sightseeing
It is in the Asia side but easy to go by ferry from Besiktas. You may discover “Moda” district there and get lost in the narrow and lively streets of Kadıköy. ÇİYA is a good restaurant for food with several traditional dishes and fair prices. CİBALİKAPI BALIKÇISI is a nice fish restaurant
