If you like sweet, try a fresh hot stroopwaffle. A Dutch waffle with caramel inside. If you are more into salty, I would recommend to order some kibbeling, a fried fish that comes with a sauce, or typically Dutch, try a raw herring with pickle and onions!

FEBO stands for Ferdinand Bolstraat, the first street where this Dutch snack bar opened. However you can find FEBO’s all over Amsterdam. Typical Dutch thing to do is to get a snack out of the febo wall. I highly recommend the kaasoufflee, a cheesy fried snack. Other nice snacks are the frikadel, a spiced sausage and the kroket.
It is a good place to have a warm and cheap snack!

It cannot get more Dutch than this: an Amsterdam brewery inside a windmill. This place has delicious beers and also serves some nice cheese/sausage platters. Can’t choose which beer to take? They also serve a palette of small glasses so you can taste all the beers!
Check the opening hours on google maps before going, they tend to close quite early (around eight).

Access to the courtyard is free of charge and opened everyday from 9:00 to 17:00.
