Food scene
We have a variety of eateries in Te Anau, ranging from food trucks that sell Bao's and sushi, fish and chip shops with a range of fresh fish available to eat, a couple of Italian restaurants, The Kepler is a more up market restaurant which also has some delicious eats of their menu. Our favourites are Las Toscana Pizzeria and The Fat Duck. Also the food trucks are a favourite with us.
The Fat Duck Restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike. They have a range of dishes on offer, and have a fantastic outdoor dining area to sit and watch the world go by.
