The place is perfect for family fun day and it is 30 minutes drive from my place . Melbourne Zoo is place that must be on your list to visit, it is so big that you can stay whole day and have plenty of fun.

The Werribee open ranch zoo it is an amazing experience to see many animals outside whole you seat in the bus and taking lots of photos. This is totally different experience than visiting Melbourne zoo but I love to RECOMMEND both.

The Queen Victoria Market has everything, organic fruit and other items.( coffee, bread restaurant, cheese , souvenirs etc. Check out online for trading hours and current events. The Market is open at night as well on Wednesdays with cook different meals and live music.
