This town is known for Fossil Rim and Dinosaur Valley State Park. Those are great places to go visit while you are in town.
They also have the Somerville County Expo Center which houses horse events or other events almost every weekend.

Not too far away from Granbury. Tarleton State University is located there. Lone Star Arena has events going on all the time. Something fun to do.

Some great places to eat or evening entertainment to enjoy.
Great atmosphere, good food, good prices. Enjoy eating by the lake and feeding all the ducks, geese, and fish. Definitely a favorite. This is only a couple of miles from my house on Hwy 144 going towards Granbury.

AMAZING food, you won’t go wrong. A good variety and some very unique choices as well that are delicious. Sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups and more. It’s not cheap but it’s not too pricey either. Great lunches and brunches. This one is high on my list of places to try. It is on the Square downtown Granbury.

It’s not cheap but it’s not too pricey either. Great lunches and brunches. This one is high on my list of places to try. It is on the Square downtown Granbury.
Ice cream in front and parlor in back. Upstairs there is a free pool table and card table. Each night of the week they have different activities you can enjoy. Live music in the evenings on the weekend. Great atmosphere. On the historic square of Granbury.

Great food and it's a unique experience having your food cooked on the hibachi grill in front of you. Little pricey but a nice treat. It is in Granbury, close to my house - across the street from Brookshire's.
