Here are a few of our favorite Nashville neighborhoods!
East Nashville is one of the hippest neighborhoods in Nashville, filled with artists and musicians who enjoy the laidback community. There are countless options for shopping, dining, and live entertainment.

East Nashville is one of the hippest neighborhoods in Nashville, filled with artists and musicians who enjoy the laidback community. There are countless options for shopping, dining, and live entertainment.
Downtown Nashville is a must see for tourists. With the famous flashing lights of the Broadway “honky tonks,” which feature live music every day of the week, and the constant events occurring at Bridgestone, Nissan Stadium, the Ryman, and Riverfront, Nashville has earned the nickname “Nashvegas.”
There are over 60 bars and restaurants, plenty of live music, and souvenir shops. If you are traveling with your family, it would be more convenient to visit this area during the day. Expect more of a tourist scene downtown and the later it gets, the more energetic it becomes.

Downtown

12 South is a booming area with dining and shopping options. Along 12th Ave South, you will find coffee shops, bars, and upscale restaurants. You can also enjoy the 12 South Farmer’s Market every Tuesday from 3:30pm to 6:30pm during the warmer months.

The Gulch is located a little bit south of Downtown Nashville and has an upscale, trendy vibe. The Gulch is extremely walkable because it’s located between several different areas. You can walk to shops and restaurants in the Gulch as well as other areas such as Downtown Nashville, Demonbreun and Midtown.

The Gulch is located a little bit south of Downtown Nashville and has an upscale, trendy vibe. The Gulch is extremely walkable because it’s located between several different areas. Lockeland Table is nestled into the historic neighborhood of its namesake in East Nashville. Woven into its very fabric are elements of the community, history and camaraderie that make up its charm. This is our favorite spot for dinner on the East side. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious.

If you need a night in, Nicolleto's is a great "to go" spot. Swing by and pick up some of their fresh pasta and cheesecake, or have it delivered by Postmates! We recommend their spaghetti with pink sauce.

Coffee and Donuts
All of our go-to spots for coffee and donuts, the two most important food groups.
Ugly Mugs is our favorite East Nashville coffee shop. It's locally owned and operated. They serve coffee, tea, and food all day. It's been lovingly referred to as "East Nashville's living room", as groups are prone to meet up and hang out at this spot.
One of our favorite local shops is located next door, Welcome Home. Good to take a look around their store while waiting on your breakfast sandwich or bagel.

The rooftop at the Bobby Hotel is a uniquely Nashville spot. In the summer, they offer shaded cabanas, and in the winter, they offer heated igloos. It's a great spot to have a drink before or after dinner.
