Sightseeing
The largest hydraulic lift-lock in the world. Its quite an impressive structure considering it was built over 100yrs ago. A nice view from the top. Ice skating below in the winter months. This will soon be the new location for our 'Canadian canoe museum'.

Parks & Nature
Beautiful park with a winding stream and small reservoir. There are many access points as the trans-Canada trail runs through this park, however the heart of the park is basically where the pin is dropped on the map. Many loops of varying lengths and dog/bike/jogger friendly.

This is the main Greyhound terminal in Peterborough. There is a heated building here with washrooms and seating. Tickets can be purchased here during regular business hours.

Main city bus terminal. This is the central station which every bus servicing the city departs from and eventually ends up again (hub and spoke model). There are washrooms and heated areas here for waiting as well as ticket terminals. This is the main (old) downtown area and there are plenty of things to see, eat and do downtown here.
This is also where the GO Bus will drop/pickup passengers.

A nice little rock climbing gym that can accommodate small or large groups. Half the gym is a bouldering wall and the climbs are shorter but range from 5.5 (easy) to 5.12+ and routes are changed frequently.
They have a great lesson and rental package here for people new to climbing.
