Our favorite eats in Redmond
We love our food scene in Redmond, and it continues to grow as our city grows. We tend to gravitate toward family owned-one off restaurants that you may not find anywhere else, although we do have a couple of our favorite local food chains listed for you to check out if they appeal to you! Consider Doordash or Amazon for delivery if you need it.
Located in the heart of downtown Redmond, Woodblock is our favorite restaurant in Redmond. You will be walking distance from small city parks, the Saturday market, and local shops when you are there. It has a fresh menu that changes seasonally and the owners are always actively seeking new menu items through travel and research. They have a tasting menu format for sharing if you'd like, or individual entrees. There are plenty of GF items and accommodations. Sunday brunch is fantastic. It has a creative bar and fantastic happy hour. Arrive early for happy hour, as there is often a full house. We recommend the scotch egg!

Tropea has my Italian neighbor's seal of approval. Lots of garlic flavor is found in this regional fare. It's located near the Bella Bottega movie theater in Redmond.

We love this dependable restaurant in Redmond town center. It stays open a little later on the weekends than the others in the area. It has a great bar, is known for hearty menu items, oysters, roasted chicken, salads and competent wait staff.

A long-time family owned restaurant in Redmond downtown near the city hall and library, this has been a family favorite of ours for years. It offers a unique twist on Mexican fare and has never failed to please our crowds large or small. Try the salsa del dia and minted rice !

This is another family owned spot for a cuppa joe. Their whole leaf tea bags are generous and refined. It's located across from the city hall and kiddy corner to the Redmond library, also near Ooba's Mexican restaurant.
