Known to us as the Square and Compass the relatively new owners have renamed this pub the Flying Fish. We've not made a visit yet but we have heard good reviews from the locals

Managed by the Forestry Commission there is a car park, the footpaths are marked and the views over Taunton are fab. Our favourite place for a walk in winter.

Recently renamed with new owners La Campagna, an Italian restaurant, was the Eagle Tavern. Located on the A303 to the west of us. A great menu, generous portions and great service.
