Dolphins, seals and whales off shore. Also Osprey's. A Marine museum, really nice cafe and tourist shop, lots of history about the place. An annual Festival to celebrate the history of the seafaring background.

- Enjoy the castle’s majestic location just outside Huntly, a pretty market town, where the rivers Bogie and Deveron meet
- Admire the South Front, given a striking, French-inspired makeover by the 1st Marquis around 1602
- See a heraldic ‘frontispiece’ so stunning it has no rival in the British Isles – also added by the 1st Marquis around 1602
- Tour the palace interiors to see treasures like the heraldic fireplaces in the lodgings of the marquis and marchioness
- Take the fun fact-finding quiz (also in Doric) while exploring the castle. Available on site

Huntly Falconry Centre demonstrate the full range of bird skills during its flying demonstrations each day. Normally three flying displays are set each day, at 11.00 am, 12.45 pm & 2.30 pm.
They invite members of the audience to participate in their flying demonstrations so they can experience first hand how the birds behave and feel close up.
Huntly Falconry Centre also caters for school educational visits. Our bird of prey demonstrations consist of birds from the UK , from Europe and from around the world. They include owls, falcons, hawks, eagles and vultures.
