MY FAVORITE IN SEATTLE, and possibly on the west coast. Geraldine's has the best breakfasts, from yummy waffles and pancakes to breakfast cocktails. There is always a wait, so make sure to get your name on the list and then have a walk around Columbia City.

This place has GREAT BURGERS!!!! Great fries, great shakes, and comic books at the tables. Family friendly, with a really nice outdoor patio. If you're coming up from a dip in the lake and want to grab a burger, this is a great spot.

PICK UP ONLY DURING COVID. This little Italian restaurant is owned by a local family that lives right down the street. Great pasta, great desserts, great service, and I (owner Will) always loved the Chianti. Reminded me of my late Italian Grandmother Helen's favorite table wine, which she humorously called "Guinea Red".

Great pasta, great desserts, great service, and I (owner Will) always loved the Chianti. Reminded me of my late Italian Grandmother Helen's favorite table wine, which she humorously called "Guinea Red".

A specialty beer bar. The owner is a local beer legend, and has some really incredible brews on tap.

CLOSED DURING COVID. An old Vaudeville theater, the Columbia City Theater has been restored and hosts some really great local talent. The bourbon bar out front is a great pre-func spot too!

Not sure whether this should go into Drinks and Nightlife or Food Scene, as the rum bar is pretty decent, but so is the food! Because I've got a lot of competition in the Food Scene, I'll leave this under Drinks and Night Life. Great drinks, great food!

Parks & Nature
This gorgeous natural park is a peninsula that juts out into Lake Washington. It has hiking trails through the middle, and a three mile run around the perimeter. Peaceful, beautiful and just a few blocks down the road. Note the hill! It's a steep walk back up!

Sightseeing
The Underground Tour gives a funny and unique view of how Seattle came to be, specifically from its hidden underground. I used to take all of my out of town guests here, this tour is only an hour and it's a lot of fun.
