Check out the Winter Village website talvikyla.fi for more info. This is probably the most convenient place for spotting the northern lights without going too far from the city.

On a hot day it is super nice and chill to rent a SUP board and go paddling in the waters of Oulu. The prices are a bit on the high side, but as a once in a summer experience I recommend the 2 hour slot.
