Food scene

Cafes, bars and restaurants.... Places that I've been to and enjoyed recently, since the middle of June, 2019.
This small cafe has been converted from an old public house and is just a 5-minute walk from our house, and on the way to the city center via Chapelfield Gardens. The coffee is excellent and so too are the sausages on ciabatta bread with mustard. The menu is small, but of good quality. They do fruit bread too - lightly toasted and buttered, perfect with coffee.

The best Margarita I've ever had and by best, I mean potent! No need for 2 for 1 deals here! The Mediterranean style food platter I shared was delicious too. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Just a 20-minute drive down the A11 brings you to The Mulberry Tree in Attleborough. I've been eating meals there for years and the food is consistently good. If you want to explore Norfolk villages and market towns south of Norwich, this is a good place to stop and have something to eat and drink. Wymondham, with its lovely Abbey, is nearby.
