Great pizza. Wood burning oven, thin crust, rich sweet tomato sauce. Many great options, we recommend Gorgonzola and Serrano ham. Cooks in the oven for about 2 minutes. Steps from the house

A pub owned by two Irish expats, good for Irish comfort food (we recommend the fish and chips and the Thai-style chicken curry) and fun atmosphere on weekends, when there’s often live music.

El Apapacho is a gem in the middle of Al Centro in Merida. It is an artsie place to kick back, chill and enjoy a delicious meal. My friends love their fruit and vegetable shakes. I love their vegetable fajita and guacamole. Their grey tacos are unique and delicious. Relaxing in the garden portion of the restaurant takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Al Centro. The wait staff is very accommodating. Recently I had a mushroom dish that was very tasty and flavorful but would have been enhanced by being sautéed a little longer. The waiter took it back twice to the kitchen until it was perfect to my taste. Steps from the house
