Sports-men/woman/juniors staying at The Baltimore Gatehouse of York to enjoy Fall and Winter Hunting Season
On November 21st, 2019, Deer Permits will be handed out on a first come first serve basis (or lottery if needed) at Nixon Park from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Hunters must have an antlerless deer license to hunt local county parks.
Willaim Kain Park will issue 50 permits for Dec. 9th & 10th and 50 permits for Dec. 11th

Codorus State Park is a 3,500-acre Pennsylvania State Park in southwestern York County, Pennsylvania in the United States. It's named for Codorus Creek, which forms the lake. Halloween in the Park is a great time with kids of all ages and this year is October 25 and 26, 2019. On both nights, multiple shuttle buses will be traveling through B-Loop to drop off and pick up event participants from 5:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Pennsylvania Hunter and Trapper on-line class
From January through November guests planning to visit PA to hunt can register for a six-hour online certification course requiring a passing test score. This is mandatory per the PA game commission for all first-time hunters and trappers and the online option is a great way to prepare for your first PA hunting trip.
The online course is available at any time for those who are at least 16 years old.
