We have several of the best restaurants in the city literally around the corner. Whether you want tacos to go or fantastic French bistro, we've got it all nearby.
Winner of numerous Best Taco awards, they make fantastic, authentic street vendor style Mexican tacos. Try the al Pastor or a torta or burrito. Also they have an excellent selection of salsas.

Les Faux is an institution in our hood and was one of the first more upscale restaurants to move into the neighbourhood years ago. It's a classic French bistro at a low price tag. Most mains are around $20 and they have an excellent bar. You can't go wrong with their original recipe French onion soup or Steak & Frites. They have lots of seasonal specials too.

Great cocktails. Interesting retro kind of vibe and a very interesting chef. Check it out if you want something more low key than Savio Volpe.

Upscale sports bar that doesn't feel like a sports bar. Great place to catch the game and drink a pint, but there's also a restaurant side for families. Our son's favourite...likely because of the basketball hoop and other games.

Great local coffee shop, excellent croissants and breakfast. Also a great place to work on your laptop.

If you are gluten free, you are in luck. This place is excellent and is so close! I prefer their drip coffee here over Matchstick and I love their smoothies. We always stop on the way to the park.

Sightseeing
Robson park is where we go to walk our dog or if our son wants a play on the playground. There's also free public tennis courts & basketball courts and many people throw down a blanket on the grass in the summer.
