A 2.5 mile walk from Old Rectory Cottage, or a 10 minute drive. Just beautiful, you can walk around the lake or even head from the lake further into Snowdonia - take an OS map. Or simply sit and take in the stunning scenery, having a hot drink and cake at the cafe.

In the small village of Trefriw there is a great choice of places to eat out. And rather than wasting time shopping in the big supermarkets or ordering a delivery, go the butchers/grocery store in Trefriw - lots a great choice and local produce too.
