Local Eats & Drinks
One of my favorite parts of traveling and holidays is discovering all the amazing places to eat and drink. We’re lucky to have a great coffee shop and bar just 50 meters away but if you feel like venturing out, I’ve listed some of my favorite places below.

This is Mudjimba’s most popular coffee shop. Very busy in the mornings but good coffee and quick bites. They make damn good toasted sandwiches too.

Florentina's Trattoria is BYO and does epic pizza and pasta. It helps to make a booking on the day if you can, just so they can prepare. They also do take away, which is nice to grab and then sit in the park across the road.

Great for coffee, gifts, trinkets, and second-hand clothes. You can walk along the beach about 15 minutes north and then turn in at Surfair. Find this cafe next to Chemist Warehouse.

Delicious food. The service is a little lacklustre, but great food! You can have an afternoon beverage at The Dock before hand and then head into Spero for a feed.

Neighbourhoods
Peregian is a vibe. We love driving up through Coolum and then into Perigian on the weekends. It’s a lovely area to grab a coffee, wander the shop for clothes, homewares, books, and trinkets, and then head to the bach to cool down.
If you’re around Perigian in the afternoon, the Perigian Pub is a great place to have a cold drink and some finger food. Really nice pub to visit. Then, grab a gelato from Peregian Pantry.
There’s also the Peregian Beach Markets which is on every 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month from 7am – 12.30pm. They are well known for the variety of art, craft, upcycled, recycled, created, designed, handmade, homegrown, organic and fair trade products.

A great outdoor climb and easily done in under 1 hour. If you’re moving, you can get up and down in 30 minutes. It has great views from up and down the coast. It’s a 10-minute drive from here.

Close to the airport, just a 4-minute drive. If you’re into weights and just want to hit a gym, this’ll do the trick.
There’s a bucketload of gyms in Maroochydore like Revl, F45, Fitspot, KX Pilates, Goodlife, Snap, Jetts and more.
