One of my favorite breakfast dishes is the Comfy Chicken Biscuit at this local diner. They're open for breakfast and lunch and specialize in southern style cooking with locally grown ingredients.
Try to get there before 9 am for breakfast as it starts to get crowded. (As an alternative, you can call ahead and get take out. They're usually pretty quick with take-out order prep, and it's a really short walk there and back from here).

Grant Park
Good for a walk or jog. There's also a zoo in there somewhere!
The paved part of the beltline trail begins nearby at 126 Kenyon St SE and you can walk, jog, bike, scooter it all the way to Piedmont Park. It's a nice way to get a walk in and get some people watching in too.

The park itself it pretty big. You can park your car there in the parking garage accessed via the Botanical Gardens or Evelyn street.
