Excellent wine list, food is of a modern Greek spin with emphasis on seafood pasta. Specific plates can be a bit hit and miss. Pricing is good given the lovely setting.

Arts & Culture
Built around the end of the 17th Century, the building is shaped like a Π, a detail which at that time indicated the importance of the owner. Bouboulina was a heroine that played a significant role in the 1821 War of Independence. Visit her house, which now operates as a museum to admire its wood-carved Florentine ceiling, 18th and 19th century furniture, interesting collection of old weapons, fine porcelain and rare books.

The island's Cathedral is of great historical importance as it was here where the island's Independence flag was raised on 3rd April 1821. It was also here where the dead body of Paul Bonaparte, nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte who came to Greece to fight on the side of Greeks, was kept in a barrel of rum for three whole years!

The beach is also an ideal starting point for following a beautiful walking route towards Profitis Elias, the highest spot of the island. On the beach there is a bar that serves coffee/drinks and a canteen that serves a variety of snacks and lunch. Moderate prices. (10 min)

Kaiki water sports offer a ride with tubes, a jet ski rental or for the most adventurous a jet surf experience. Moderate to expensive prices. During weekends it gets really difficult to find a sun-bed available, so I suggest you to book one from the previous day (5 min walking)

Kaiki beach is the only one that you can go walking. It is the most popular of the island. It has a fine restaurant/bar. Kaiki water sports offer a ride with tubes, a jet ski rental or for the most adventurous a jet surf experience. Moderate to expensive prices. 2 km south-east of Dapia, Sandy, organized with a beach restaurant/bar. Sun lovers as well as water sport funs can access the beach either by sea taxi, bus or walking 10 minutes from old harbor.

Weather permitting, you can enjoy a breathtaking view all the way to Nafplio! You can go either by sea taxi or a small day-cruise boat that departures every morning from the harbor. (20min)
