Great Indian food with the right amount of spicy - and the Hostess/owner, not sure how to spell her name, but to pronounce sounds like "latch-me". The vindaloo here is delicious, biryani - yum. OK, to be honest, everything is delicious!

Kolache Rolf's is SO close and SO delicious...Breakfast and lunch served here. Rolf's story is a local one, he uses Slovacek [local] sausage in his Kolache's and Rodney who is accustomed to kolaches from germantown Texas: Moulton and Schulenburg area ~ really likes the poppy seed and cottage cheese too.

Everything about the MSC is beautiful, the history, the fact that it is a Memorial to our fallen former students, the hall with the Medal of Honor recipients ...and don't forget to enjoy the Stark Galleries, or stroll by the Rodney Hill carving from 1976 - the Centennial Celebration of Texas A&M [I was present when these carved pieces of art were unveiled in 1976!] or walk thru the Living Room - quiet, peaceful and serene. All you Former Students - don't be thinking "been there done that"...come on back, and see it through an older set of lenses. Humbling to be sure....and yes, there is a food court available too!

Parks & Nature
A really easy walk. Within Bee Creek park there is a newly constructed Butterfly Garden and a TERRIFIC playground [thank you City of College Station!] complete with a sunshade. My g-babes LOVE to walk to "Granny's park" [ their term, not mine!!!] to play for hours on the swingset, slide and climbing gym.

The complex features 13 multi-purpose fields (4 synthetic) and five natural grass softball fields. Amenities include lights on all fields, batting cages, playgrounds, wi-fi connectivity, pavilion, and more. Tucked away in the park is a 12-acre site dedicated to veterans from our nation’s wars. The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial includes life-sized statues, a Wall of Honor, interpretive panels and memorial sites.

Kroger Plus store on Rock Prairie. Both are clean and well stocked. As with all grocers, the earlier in the day you go, the less crowded. Good wine and beer selection too. There is a Spec's liquor store, a Hallmark store, a Kolache Rolfs all in the same shopping center as Kroger.
