Maui's best Japanese restaurant is conveniently located close by on South Kihei Rd. Being vegetarians and sometimes vegan, we especially love their 'Paia Rolls' and they usually offer early bird and late night specials. If you go, call ahead and book a reservation for a booth if they still have them at their new location in the Kukui Mall.

A must visit if you want to experience what standing on the surface of the moon must look and feel like. Many people make the trip to our top of the world for the breathtaking sunrises but we like it any time of the day. Bring warm clothes, it gets downright chilly up there!

Hike nearby and swim under a waterfall. A must visit! Of course on the road to Hana, there are even more waterfalls to enjoy but this one is relatively close by compared to a Hana excursion.

Be advised that this is at least an all day event if not longer! Just because the distance doesn't seem far on a map, it's a *long* trek - especially if you stop along the way and you will probably want to. Plan for this and give yourself enough time! Phone service along the way can be spotty as well!
