Going strong since 1892, the charming, wood-panelled bar of Bodega de la Ardosa is brimful of charm. To come here and not try the salmorejo (cold tomato soup made with bread, oil, garlic and vinegar), croquetas or tortilla de patatas (potato and onion omelette) would be a crime. To come here and not try the salmorejo (cold tomato soup made with bread, oil, garlic and vinegar), croquetas or tortilla de patatas (potato and onion omelette) would be a crime. On weekend nights there’s scarcely room to move.

Probably the best vermouth of the city is served in this place. Great place for place for drink with friends.Very good atmosphere and good service.

Highly recommend a visit if you're in the Chueca area while visiting our city. This bar as established in 1917 is where is said the king Alfolso XIII went to have a vermouth. Probably the best vermouth of the city is served in this place. Great place for place for drink with friends.Very good atmosphere and good service.
