One of the oldest "brown coffee" in Amsterdam and one my favorite. The bar is authentic, with many locals going there and the surroundings are beautiful. They serve nice beer, and a nice selection of Dutch gin (genevier).
You will cross beautiful canals on your way.

An old tram station transformed into a hipster food market. This place is just about snacks (or small dish) which are carefully prepared. Grab a table (crowed during the weekends), some food and drinks! There are also some shops and stalls some nice souvenirs just next to it.

Very good Italian restaurant, owned by Italians! Perfect if you are walking in this area.

Welcome to the central library in Amsterdam, next to Centraal Station (careful, the map is incorrect in Air BnB). It is itself a nice building, but the best is the terrace on the top floor. You can just enjoy the view, or take a cup of coffee.
